Manufacturing Process and Material Selection of Clutch Plate

1. The clutch plate adopts the calendering and gluing process


Brief description of the process flow: Impregnate the non-asbestos fiber strands in resin, and then in the glue. After drying, the non-asbestos fiber line is calendered and glued, and after being wound by making a strip, it is hot-pressed and formed for further heat treatment, and then dedusted and marked by grinding, and finally the packaging is inspected.


2. The clutch plate adopts dipping and drying process


Brief description of the process flow: First, the non-asbestos fiber threads are dipped in resin and glue and dried. It is then wound and hot-pressed for further heat treatment. Then through grinding and processing the dust-removing printing mark, the packaging is finally inspected.


Clutch friction plate (referred to as clutch plate) is a very important part in the clutch of the truck driveline. It must have a high and stable friction coefficient and good wear resistance. For the friction characteristics of automobile clutch plates, many international studies have been carried out.


However, the primary and secondary relationships of factors such as pressure (P), speed (V), temperature (T), and number of revolutions (t) that affect its friction characteristics, the interaction between them, and how they function with friction characteristics The relationship and experimental accuracy are still inconclusive.


Friction material is a key factor that determines the performance of vehicle and mechanical clutch assemblies and brakes. In the process of transmission and braking, it should mainly meet the following technical requirements.


First of all, it should have a suitable and stable friction coefficient; secondly, it should have good wear resistance, and it should also have good mechanical strength and physical properties; finally, it must have high bonding stability and comfort.


3. Why should the clutch plate be installed on the driven plate?


Everyone knows that the clutch plate is installed on the driven plate, but many people will ask why the friction plate is installed on the driven plate?


The mechanical energy is transmitted between the clutch driven plate and the active plate according to the friction effect. Under the working conditions, the automobile clutch plate and the friction plate cause a sliding friction force and then push the clutch driven plate to work.


Secondly, if the friction plate is installed on the active disc, the driving force output of the car engine cannot be interrupted. Therefore, only the clutch friction plate is installed on the driven plate to disconnect the driving force output of the active water pump flywheel.


Thirdly, if the clutch friction plate is installed on the positive part, it is necessary to install the clutch plate and spring and other parts on the clutch driven plate, which may cause the inertial force of the driven plate to increase due to the improvement of the quality.


Finally, if the clutch plate is installed on the positive part of the clutch, it will cause a lot of inconvenience in the future maintenance.
